Joule L'Adara's SOUNDING SCORES

Joule creates graphic musical scores that freeze her vocal sound work in time so that they may be re-interpreted and re-sounded again and again. Her scores are created in real time with her vocally sounding whilst drawing the visual representation of the sound layers - thus her hands and colored strokes reflect the vocal utterances, layered over each other over time to create complex graphic compositions which encapsulate a musical essence, yet never will can be re-created exactly the same. Thus they create ongoing sound evolutions.
